Trinity Manor, a working farm in the north of the island decided as part of the 'Percentage for Art' scheme to decorate the new cow shed with some giant steel globes suspended over the cow stalls. Local artist and sculpture, Nick Romeril was engaged to make the giant globes which are manufactured from steel with hundreds of cow shapes cut from the steel with welding equipment.

Lighting was an important element as part of the vision provided by Nick was to illuminate the inside of the globes with bright coloured lights so that the globes cast multiple shadows of the cows all over to roof structure of the shed.

Very high-power colour-change floodlights were sourced from our Italian partner Studio Due. These floodlights were mounted in the bottom of the globes and worked beautifully giving the desired effect.

A truly unique and fun project to work on, the cows seamed happy too!!
